Brown the meat, then remove from pan and drain excess fat.
Sauté onion and garlic in oil.
Add back the meat, tomatoes and basil. Season to taste and simmer until thickened.
Mix together ricotta and egg.
Layer meat sauce, courgette strips and cheese sauce in a lasagne dish, Finishing with cheese sauce and top with grated cheese. Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes or until brown on top.
