Cucumber and dill salad recipe

Peel the cucumber and slice it very thinly into slices of about 2mm each. Next, soak the cucumber slices in brine for 15 minutes to reduce bitterness.

Mix the cucumber, salt, sugar and dill in a bowl and serve.


In the middle of summer the cucumbers tend to be sweet and you don't need to soak them in brine for as long, or even at all.
