Cumin burger with cucumber, feta and tomato HERO

In a bowl, combine the beef with the onion, cumin, and Worcestershire sauce. Season to taste, mix and
form into 4 burgers.

Heat up the barbecue. Cook the burgers for about 4 minutes each side (or cook them on a grill pan for about 5 minutes each side until cooked through with no pink showing).  

Serve the burgers topped with cucumber, feta and tomato in a toasted roll.

  • 400g (13oz) lean minced beef steak
  • 2 small red onions, 1 finely chopped, 1 sliced, to serve
  • 1tsp ground cumin
  • 2tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small cucumber, cut into ribbons or thinly sliced
  • 4 slices feta cheese
  • 1 large beefsteak tomato, thickly sliced
  • 4 toasted sesame hamburger baps, ciabatta or other bread rolls
