This is our family recipe. It is so delicious that I like to share it with you.
Roll out pastry. Line a 20cm flan tin.
Beat eggs, sugar, milk and cream together. Pour the mixture into the line flan tin. Sprinkle the top with grated nutmeg.
Stand the flan tin in a water bath. Bake in the oven(200c?400/Gas6) for 15 minutes and the reduce the temperature o (160C/325F/Gas) for further 30-45 minutes till the custard is set.
