Awesome Smoked Bacon and Spinach Orzo recipe

Cook orzo as per the packet instructions and drain.

Whilst cooking, heat pan with olive oil until quite hot and fry the bacon until crispy. Remove bacon from pan.

Deglaze pan with white wine and add onions and garlic and cook until soft.

Add spinach to pan and cook until wilted. Check that the ingredients are not too dry. You may need to add a little stock at this point.

When spinach is wilted, add bacon and creme fraiche to pan. Stir well and keep warm.

Add cooked orzo to pan with the other ingredients and heat.

Serve and add black pepper to taste.

Even good when cold as a salad.
