Easy Finest pork meatballs recipe

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

In a large bowl use your hands to mix the mince, paprika, 1 teaspoon garlic, pinch of salt, pinch of black pepper, porridge oats, Worcester sauce and 2 spoons of red wine. Knead the mixture in the bowl until thoroughly mixed.

Slightly dust a chopping board / other surface with flour. Form the mince mixture into 16 meatballs - making sure to roll each one in flour - then place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven for 15 mins.

Place the spaghetti in salted, boiling water on the stove.

Empty the sauce into a saucepan, add the chives, remaining red wine, 1 teaspoon garlic and pinch of black pepper. Simmer on low heat.

Remove meatballs from the oven and place them in the sauce. Simmer for 5-10 mins. (Add boiled water to the sauce if too thick)

Drain spaghetti, put on plates, spoon over the meatballs and sauce and serve! Place Parmesan or grated cheese in centre of table for people to help themselves.

Also tastes great with garlic bread for dipping :)

  • 2 teaspoons Garlic purée
