My daughter saw a picture of some fruit served with cereal on the cereal packet, and asked if we could try that. We have been adding fruit and nuts to all of our breakfasts ever since!

Make porridge as you normally would, following instructions to microwave or cook on a hob.

Mix in all other ingredients, stir and serve!

Use any fruit available, strawberries and raspberries are great, too!

  • Half cup Sunflower seed kernels
  • 1 cup Mixed chopped walnuts and flaked almonds
  • 1 punnet Blackberries
  • 1 punnet Blueberries
  • 2 Chopped eating apples
  • 1.5 pints Milk
