My mum, grandmas, and aunts all made these for all the kids in the family when we were growing up as they were definately a favourite. I now make them for my kids and they absolutely love them. Its a very simple meal to prepare and can be eaten easily if

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix by hand

Make the mixture into small bite size balls a little smaller than a small egg

Fry the balls in the oil, this must be preheated before adding the meatballs

if you prefer you can cook the balls in the oven for a healthier option. These meatballs are delicious served hot or cold and can be used in lunch boxes or snack packs for kids and adults. I would normally serve the balls with a Greek salad for adults and with cucumber and carrot sticks for kids
