Dry fry the lean mince beef until browned then add the chopped onion and crushed garlic till softened.

Add the Worcestershire sauce and stock pot and keep stirring until stock pot melts, then add in the finely diced carrots.

Add the Italian seasoning, then stir in the chopped tomatoes, passata and tomato puree.

Turn the heat down and simmer sauce for about 25 mins. If the liquid starts to cook off too much, add some boiling water.

The Paccheri pasta will take about 10 mins to cook. This needs to be added to a large pan of salted boiling water.

Once the pasta is cooked, drain away the excess water retaining about 50 mls to add into the pasta sauce.

You can either plate up the pasta and then dollop the sauce on top or stir the sauce through the pasta.

Top with your favourite grated cheese - Tesco Finest parmesan is a good one!

Add a dash of olive oil to the pan of boiling water for the pasta. This will stop it from sticking together whilst cooking.
