Pancakes recipe

This is a recipe my partners gran shared with me and is nice to make with other people.

Put the flour in a bowl and crack the egg on top.

Stir in the milk bit by bit to form a paste.

Whisk until there are no lumps and leave to rest for 15 minutes.

Heat the knob of butter in a frying pan and when it starts to foam add a small amount of mixture.

Tip the mixture about to form a pancake shape, it only needs to be a thin layer of mixture.

Cook for about 2 minutes until brown and then flip to cook the other side.

Keep doing this for the remainder of the mixture.

Pancakes are great as you can fill them with whatever you like. You can make them sweet or savoury, for breakfast or desert. The options are endless!
