Plum sauce/jam recipe

Put 600ml/1pint water added in to a pan, bring to boil. Add dry plums and let that boil in the water for a few of minutes.

Next add the sugar, salt, chilli powder and cinnmon together, and stir well. Then leave to boil for approx 30 mins until syrupy. Pour into sterilised jars to store.

  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 2tsp salt
  • 2tsp chilli powder
  • ½tsp cinnamon
