Prawn Bhuna and beans recipe

Heat the oil in a heavy frying pan, add the onion and cook over low heat until it softens. Stir in the chilli and garlic, cook for 1 minute more.


Add the prawns, cook briefly, then add the remaining ingredients. Cook over low to medium heat until the mange tout are cooked, this should take about 7 minutes.


Serve with rice or naan bread.

  • 1 chilli or less, to taste, finely sliced
  • 250g (8oz) prawns, cooked
  • 1 clove garlic, sliced
  • 300g (10oz) butter beans, cooked
  • 200g (7oz) mange tout
  • 300ml (10fl oz) vegetable stock
