The trifle is brought out on most occasions and devoured - at christmas it is a lighter dessert and we have so much fun laughing at who gets a Revel they may not like - just like the advert on t.v.!
Cut muffins into chunks and lay on bottom of wide bottomed trifle bowl. Add raspberries and maltesers reserving 3 raspberries for top.
Empty the contents of the chocolate custard on top, smoothing with the back of spoon. Whip the cream until soft peak and place on top of the custard. Sprinkle with grated chocolate and add three raspberries to the centre. Delicious and quick.
Most chocolates will be good used in this recipe but Revels add a different taste altogether and make a good guessing game of what you will get in your mouthful!
