Place milk and oats in a saucepan over a high heat.
Bring the porridge to the boil, turn down to a low heat and stir well. Cook for 5 - 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the salt and stir again.
Meanwhile wash the blueberries and peel and chop up the kiwi fruit.
Add the ground almonds to the porridge and cook for a further 2-5 minutes.
Stir in the fruit and serve. Add honey and a splash of cold milk. Enjoy!
The more you stir the thicker your porridge will be.
Many other combinations of fruit and nuts work well. Experiment to find your favourite. A pinch of cinnamon gives it a festive flavour.
For more people, just increase the amounts and allow and extra 2-3 minutes cooking time per extra person.
