English Sherry Triffle recipe

I love this recipe because it is so easy to make and yet it taste really good.

Spread the trawberry Conserve on the sponge. Arrange in a nice glass trifle bowl. Drizzle the sherry over the sponge. Cut Strawberries into quarters. Add to the sherry sponge. Leave to soak for 20 minutes.

Pour the Cornish custard over the top. Then pour over with the extra thick cream. Leave in the fridge for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with toasted almond.

Other fruit like raspberries can also be used.

  • 3 tabsp. Tesco Finest Strawberry Conserve
  • 1 packet Triffle Sponge
  • 100g fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 glass Sherry
  • 600ml extra thick cream
  • 3 tabsp. flaked almond ( toasted)
