The first time I had chili con carne was when I was on holiday in Spain. I was really impressed so I develope this recipe myself.
Heat olive oil in a pan. Sweat onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Add in the minced beef, chilli powder and fry for 3-4 minutes.
Add in pepper, kidney beans, chopped tomatoes, and oregano.
Add 100 ml water. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes till the meat is tender.
Season to taste. Serve with tortilla and salad wrap.
You can aslo use fresh chilli.
