fast cheap healthy spaghetti bolognese recipe

Under pressure to provide healthy, cheap, fast meals - you find your own short cuts!!

Put a large pot with a teaspoon of salt & 2/3rds full with boiling water onto a high heat on back of the hob, & add a little of the marg/butter. Break the spaghetti (still in the packets) into 2 by lifting up the pack & bringing your arm down on it. Open at one end ready with scissors.

Get a slightly smaller pot, put in a spoon of the butter/marg with the onion, mince & seasoning, & turn on a high heat.

When the first pot of water is boiling again, tip in all the spaghetti & set the timer for 10 mins, turning it down slightly.

Meanwhile, stir the smaller pot, avoiding sticking, turn iit down slightly. After 5 mins thorough cooking, add the soup, & let it heat up.

When the timer goes off, turn off the pasta, & drain off the water. Return to the pot, & top with remaining butter/marg.

Serve the Bolognese meat sauce over the pasta, & sprinkle a little grated cheese over the top if liked (optional).

Nice with a lettuce salad. Fast, cheap & easy. Also good as a supper or lunch. Freezes & re-heats well. I've put 5 mins as prep time, but really it doesn't take that long.
