I love chocolate and I love cake - put the two together and this is just pure heaven! I always get asked where I bought this cake as it looks so professional!

Preheat the oven to 190oC.

In a separate bowl, mix the butter, flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, milk then the beaten eggs all at once!

Once mixed in a batter, tip into two sandwich tins and bake for approx. 20mins or until springy to the touch.

Heat the cream and remove from the heat. Add the dark chocolate, butter and honey. Leave to melt, then give it a stir to combine - do not over mix!

Place chocolate cream mix in the fridge for an hour/ to help it set a little. sandwich the two cakes together with some chocolate cream, then cover the whole cake in it - the top and sides!!!

If your chocolate cream has set too hard, leave it out for an hour to loosen. You can always dip your spatula in boiling hot water to help the chocolate cream spread and smoothen for the professional look!
