Pre-heat the grill to medium-hot.
Heat the vegetable oil in a cast-iron pan over a moderate heat and crack the eggs into the pan. Allow them to set for 1 minute then add the bacon to pan and transfer to the oven. Once the eggs and the bacon are cooked, remove and garnish with salt and black pepper before serving.
