Melt the chocolate and butter (in a microwave or over a pan of boiling water), stir it well occasionally until it gets smooth.
Take your fruit selection and peel and chop fruit into small-medium size pieces (strawberries can be left as they are)
Dip the fruits into the melted chocolate one by one, or you can place a selection of the fruits onto a single skewer, and dip it into the chocolate mixture. NOTE: When the fruit is dipped into the mixture, hold it for a minute give it a little shake as you withdraw it and wait to let the excess chocolate drip off.
Next either place the fruit into refrigerator or set aside to allow the chocolate to harden, about 30 minutes.
Transfer fruit onto a pre-decorated tray or a serving platter.
