Put a large saucepan of water onto a high heat to boil ready to cook the pasta
Roughly chop chorizo and dry fry in a medium pan for a couple of minutes to release the juices.
Add the tin of tomatoes & herbs and bring to the boil
Simmer on a low heat for about 20 minutes to reduce the sauce
By now the water should be boiling and ready to cook the pasta as per packet instructions
When the sauce is reduced, take off the heat and blend with a hand blender.
Drain the pasta and add to the sauce. Serve at once with side salad, garlic bread or foccacia
