Ginger baked bananas recipe

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) Gas Mark 4. Slice the bananas lengthways and lay in a lightly buttered ovenproof dish. Sprinkle the spices over the bananas and then sprinkle with the lemon juice and finally the flaked almonds. Pour over the ginger syrup. Cover with foil and bake for 12-15 minutes. Meanwhile, stir the stem ginger into the yogurt. Remove the bananas from the oven and serve with a dollop of the natural yogurt.
