I have a friend who suffers with coeliac disease. I often make her flapjacks especially when we meet for a coffee. I have been reviewing Perk!er Porridge Oats for BzzAgent, the apple and raisin flavour seemed like a good way to perk up a flapjack.
Add the butter, sugar and syrup to a small saucepan. Melt over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved.
Add the oats and raisins, mix well.
Scoop the mixture into a shallow lined baking tray, spread evenly until mix is half an inch in depth.
Bake in a pre heated oven gas mark 4/180c/380f for 20 minutes.
Cool slightly before cutting into portions.
