Add flour to bowl, make a well in the middle.

Add the egg

Add a 1/4 of the milk and whisk.

add another 1/4 of the milk whisk again till smooth and no lumps.

add remaining milk and whisk till smooth. Leave to rest for 20 minutes.

Heat butter in frying pan, add some of the mixture, brown on first side then flip over and brown on the other.

Remove when golden and add topping of your choice and enjoy.
