I love making these short bread for children who gluten intolerance.
Creamy butter and sugar together till light and fluffy.
Add in cherries, and the the flour. Make into a dough. Trannsfer the dough onto a flour borad.
Roll the dough out into 1/2 inch thick. Use a biscuit cutter and cut into shapes. Place on a baking sheet and into the oven gas4 / 160C for 15-20 minutes till straw brown.
Cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with caster sugar
