i just love italian food but i have Coeliacs disease so i need a gluten free diet.
Prepare the Bolognese. Gently fry the onion, garlic and mixed herbs in the olive oil for 5 minutes to soften. Add the diced bacon and cook for a further 5 minutes.
Stir in the diced carrots, celery and pepper and cook for a further 5 minutes. Add the minced beef and cook for 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Add the passata.
Bring to a gentle simmer, cover and cook for 30 minutes until the sauce has thickened and reduced by about a third.
boil the Gluten free spaghetti in a pan of boiling water until cooked
Drain and serve in individual bowls topped with Bolognese Sauce and sprinkled with grated Parmesan
you do not need to add the parmesan on top if you dont want to
