Heat the butter in a pan and fry the shallot, add the asparagus and cook for a couple of minutes until softened,

Mean while cook the gnocchi according to packet instructions.

Drain gnocchi and add with peas into pan with the shallot and asparagus. Stir to coat in the butter, dollop in the ricotta and serve with chives and lemon zest
