In a large bowl sift the gram flour. Into the same bowl, peel and shred potatoes and add all the spices, yogurt and spinach.
Add warm water very slowly while mixing the contents in the bowl to a thick semisolid consistency.
Place cooking oil in a frying pan and heat, shallow fry tablespoon scoops of the mixture filling up the frying pan at a time and cooking each side for few minutes until golden brown then do the same with a second batch. Remove one at a time and place on kitchen paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Serve with a sprinkling of vinegar or lemon juice.
Tips: can improvise by adding chopped onions or replacing the potatoes with crushed cooked rice and vegetable left overs. Best served with hot cup of tea or sweet fruit juice.
