Gypsy toast with cinnamon sugar recipe

Mix the eggs, milk and cream together in a shallow bowl

Soak the slices of bread in the mixture so they are nicely soaked through

Melt the butter in a frying pan and cook the soggy slices until they are puffed up and browned nicely on both sides

Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and remove the cooked eggy bread from the pan straight into the sugar. Make sure it's covered on both sides!

Serve hot with ice cream. Yummy!
