I used to make these dippers with my Mum when I was younger. Now I make them with my family as they are so easy, fun and tasty - and cheap to make!
Slice the turkey steaks into thin strips approx 2-3" long and 1" wide.
Place the bread slices in a food blender with the salt and pepper and mix until you have fine bread crumbs.
Dip each turkey dipper first into the flour until coated, then into the beaten egg mix, and finally roll in the breadcrumbs until coated all over.
Place the olive oil in a large pan and heat on a medium heat on the hob. Then place the dippers into the pan and cook for around 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Serve in home made paper cones with a squeeze of lemon or tomato ketchup to taste!
Dipping the turkey into the flour first helps stop the egg running off!
