Gather together all listed ingredients in one bowl or, if you have one, a pestle and mortar, mix and grind together until you are left with a gritty powder, the rub is now complete!

With your pre-prepared rub, you can add it to any meat, fish, poultry or vegatables. Take either a baking tray or pyrex dish and drizzle the bottom with either olive oil or any other cooking oil, sprinkle the oil with the prepared rub mix.

Add your meat, fish, poultry or vegetablees, giving them a good coating. Cook in the oven until golden and voila! Homemade salt and pepper rub.

Tip: Increase the quantities to make a larger batch of rub mix for future use, keep in a sealed sandwich bag for freshness!
