Honey roast peaches with mascarpone HERO

Heat oven to Gas Mark 4, 180°C, 350°F. Grease an ovenproof shallow dish with a little butter. Cut peaches in half, remove the stones and place in the dish in a single layer.

Drizzle over the honey, add the cinnamon sticks and place dish in oven for 15 minutes. Take out, check, and spoon the runny honey over the peaches, return to oven and bake for a further 15 minutes.

Serve the peaches with lots of honey from the pan and the mascarpone. Delicious hot or at room temperature.
