Indian style mashed potatoes recipe

Start by boiling a pan of water, whilst the water starts to boil, peel and cut the potato into pieces. Once boiling add the potatoes and cook until soft. Once cooked mash with a little bit of milk and butter.

Stir all the other ingredients in small bowl and add to the mash potato. Mix throughly with fork and serve warm as an accompaniment.

Tip: Instead of mango powder you can use lime juice or lemon juice.

  • 1tsp salt
  • 1tsp crushed black peppers
  • 1 fresh red chilli chopped
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 50g butter
