Mix together ricotta cheese, 1 egg, salt, 5 tbs milk and oil. Add a mixture of flour and baking powder. Quickly knead well and leave to stand for 30 minutes.
Add figs cut into thin slices and pistachios and knead again.
Divide into 3 parts, roll into 40 cm long cylinder each and twist together.
Put on the tray and brush with a mixture of egg yolk and milk.
Bake in the oven at 170 degrees Celsius until light brown (35 - 40 minutes).
