It‘s a very popular winter dessert in Pakistan. Commonly served in parties and weddings too to celebrate the winter season.
Chopped the carrots in a chopper. Put the carrots with the milk in a pan and cook till the milk reduces to half its original amount at medium heat.
Reduce heat , add ghee and cook for a while , add sugar , cook until completely incorporated. Lastly add koya . Mix it well. Take out in a dish and sprinkle with nuts! Enjoy!
It‘s better to make it in a open mouth and at least medium size pan.
The amount of sugar , ghee and koya can be adjusted to one‘s taste but the taste will be compromised :)
It‘s taste better while warm / slightly hot , so if it gets cold microwave it.
It‘s stays good for few days if put in air tight container in a fridge.
Can also be freezed.
