Put a large pan of salted water on to boil.
Heat oil in a large frying pan and gently cook the garlic for 1 minute until softened. Add the vine tomatoes and simmer until they begin to break down.
Add the zest and juice of the lemon, the sugar, chilli and seasoning. Stir to blend. Toss in the prawns and gently cook these ingredients together until everything is heated through (about 2-3 minutes).
Cook the tagliatelle in the pan of boiling water according to the packet instructions.
Drain the tagliatelle and add to the prawn mixture. Gently toss to mix. Divide between two bowls and serve.
Tip: For added flavour, add grated parmesan.
