Wash the lamb's lettuce and watercress and pick over.

Place the garlic, mustard, sugar, vinegar and seasoning in a jar, put the lid on and shake to blend.

Add the olive oil and shake again vigorously to blend. Drizzle over the salad leaves and toss well.
