Low Fat - Spagetti Carbonara

I wanted a low fat recipe for spagetetti carbonara. i tried many recipes off the net that were ok this is the combination of what i found for a tasty low fat meal

Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling lightly salted water for 6-12 minutes (follow the manufacturer''s instructions on the packet) until the pasta is cooked and tender but still a little firm. Stir occasionally while it is cooking to prevent the strands of pasta sticking together. Drain well.

Drain the pasta well and set to one side.

Put some oil in a frying pan and put on high heat, fry the bacon for 4 minutes, now turn the heat to medium adding the eggs and cheese and cook for a further 4 minutes Stiring constantly so the egg doesnt scramble . Add the salt and pepper cook for a further 30 seconds.

Plate up and sprinkle with the parsley

  • 1 tbsps Chopped Parsley
  • 125g Lean Bacon Diced
