Thisis my mum's favourite cake. She only make them for special occasions
Cream butter and sugar in a foog mixer till light and fluffy.
Add in eggs and then the flour. Transfer the mixture into 12 greased Dariole moulds. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at Gas 4/180C/300F.
Turn out to cool on a wire rack. When cool brush the side of the cake with jam. Coat with dessicated coconut. Decorate each cake with 1/2 a glace' cherry.
