Add the fruits,sugar and milk into a bowl,until the milk soaks in .add the flour,and mix well.put into greased/floured tin ,and bake for 30mins,at 150 to b180 0c or gas mark 5.after 30 mins pierce the cake to see if cooked ,if not,bake for another 10 to 15 mins,pull out of oven,and cool for 10 mins then turn the malt loaf out of tin.then slice the malt loaf,and spread with butter and enjoy with a brew
simple recipe looks like a malt loaf,but can add nuts instead of fruit
