One evening I was stuck on what to cook. I looked in my cupboards/fridge and saw these ingredients.
It was a hit. I also had some garlic bread which went well with the pasta dish
boil the pasta in water with a dash of olive oil and sprinkle of sea salt for 10 minutes
soak the dried mushrooms in a 2 tablespoons of boiling water for 10 mins
Saute chopped chestnut mushrooms in a little bit of olive oil and butter in a frying pan for 5 minutes.
Add cream cheese to the mushrooms and stir. Add the soaking mushrooms with juice and stir for 3 minutes
Drain the pasta and add to the mushroom mix. Stir well and heat gently add salt and black pepper to taste. Also a pinch of mixed herbs
