This is an easy-to-make treat that the kids will enjoy getting involved with. As if the chocolate-coated fruit and marshmallows aren’t enough, the popping candy and edible glitter add even more excitement to this sweet treat.
- Begin by melting the chocolate by placing a bowl of chocolate over a pan of hot water. Ensure that the base of the bowl does not come into contact with the water. Stir gently stir until all of the chocolate has melted.
- In a bowl, place the chopped banana and grapes. Place the marshmallows into a separate bowl.
- Thread the fruit and marshmallows alternatively onto either cocktail sticks or skewers. If you have a slightly older child, let them do this. Let the kids get their fingers stuck in while they dip the skewers into the melted chocolate. Ensure the fruit and marshmallows are coated in chocolate and then place onto a plate.
- To finish, sprinkle the popping candy and edible glitter over the skewers. Alternatively, use desiccated coconut to make it look like it has snowed over your chocolate-covered treats.
