Halve the tomatoes and transfer to a bowl, season with salt and pepper.

Slice the peppers and add to the tomatoes. Finely slice the onion and stir into the tomatoes and peppers with the capers. Sprinkle the olives and basil over the salad.

Drizzle over olive oil just before serving.
