Dice the bacon into small bite sized cubes
Chop the onion fairly small and cut the peppers. Fry gently for a few minutes
Strain the liquid from the sweetcorn. Add the puree and the stock making this up to a total of approx, 1 pint.
Pour the liquid into a saucepan, add the sweetcorn and bacon and cook for approx. 1/2 hour.
Serve with either rice or a fresh green salad
