Put approx 3-4 cups of water into a pan and bring to a gentle simmer.
Add the tofu, spring onions and dried seaweed.
Put some of the miso paste into a small bowl and add a little water taken from the pan, Stir the water and miso until it's a loose paste, then add it to the pan and turn the heat to low. Add the dashi and taste. Add more miso if needed.
Add any veg or even some pork is nice.
