Preheat oven to 180C and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Sieve the baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, flour and salt in to a bowl.
Cream the butter and sugar together and then and then mix in egg and vanilla.
Mix in the flour mixture until smooth and then gently stir in the coconut and porridge oats.
Shape the dough in to 2cm balls and place on baking trays.
Bake at 180C for around 12-14 mins.
