This scnoe are delicious and refreshing. They are ideal to serve with afternoon tea.
Rub salted butter into the flour. Add in sugar , orange zest and milk to form a soft dough.
Roll the dough out on a flour board. cut into 10 rounds using a 4cm cutter. Transfer the scones onto a greased baking tray. Bake in a hot oven 230C/450F/Gas 8 for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
Cool on a wire rack. Make the orange cream: cream unsalted butter and icing sugar together. Stir in the orange juice.
When the scones are cool. Split them into half. Sandwich with orange cream. Dust the top with iciing sugar. Delicious.
