A delicious Italian twist on the classic bread and butter pudding. Made with sweet panettone and juicy blueberries this warming dessert is sure to be a firm family favourite.
Heat the oven to Gas 4, 180°C, fan 160°C.
Butter a 1.2litre (2pt) ovenproof dish, sprinkle the frozen blueberries over the dish and arrange the sliced panettone in overlapping layers.
Mix together the milk, eggs and sugar, and then pour over the panettone. Flatten the top with a large spatula and sprinkle with a little extra sugar.
Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes until the top is golden brown and the egg mix has set.
