Cook pasta as per packet instructions.
Add olive oil to heated pan and add onion and garlic. Cook on medium heat for 5-7 mins or until soft. Remove from pan and add the chopped bacon to the pan, fry for 2-3 mins. Return onions and peppers to the pan.
Add the garlic and chilli to the pan and mix thoroughly. Add tinned tomatoes and basil and turn heat to higher setting to allow the sauce to reduce.
Add cooked drained pasta to the sauce. Serve in pasta bowls with two small slices of garlic ciabatta and some grated parmesan.
