Bring a pan of salted water to the boil, add the pasta and cook according to pack instructions for about 10 minutes until al dente.
Fry the bacon lardons in a non-stick pan with the onion for about 8 minutes until the bacon is becoming crispy and the onions are softened.
Drain the pasta, warm the soup in the pan, tip back pasta into the pan, season, and stir to combine.
Pour into serving bowls and sprinkle the crispy bacon and onions on top.
